About Us

Located in the quiet, peaceful environs of Koregaon Park, Pune, Maharashtra, this 50- bedded eye hospital is a specialised eye care center which works with a mission to combat eye disease and reduce avoidable blindness through a comprehensive approach to eye care. It is housed in a five-floor building covering 25000 sq. feet with general wards as well as deluxe rooms, and packages designed to suit different economic strata.

The K K Eye Institute was started under the inspiration and guidance of Rev. Dada J.P. Vaswani, Spiritual Head of the Sadhu Vaswani Mission, Pune, India. He envisioned the need for an Eye Institute which would bring world-class eye care to the people of Pune. One that would render a patient centric approach to health care, one that would provide the most technical expertise and quality services and spread its concept of care to distant areas of the state of Maharashtra.

In a little over six years of its functioning over 39,250 In patients’ cataract, glaucoma, squint, retinal surgeries have been carried out and over 1,09,333 out-patients have been treated for spectacle correction, glaucoma, computer vision syndrome and diabetic retinopathy.
